About you IT knowledge essential –  Agricultural machinery knowledge an advantage. We are looking for an Agricultural Parts Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day activities required within our busy parts department. Delivering outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. You will be required to identify required parts, pick parts from stock and place orders with suppliers to meet customer expectations.

• Responding to customer parts and Service Workshop enquiries via phone, email and face to face in a timely manner.
• Loading and unloading the parts and equipment deliveries.
• Ensuring customer collections, local deliveries and courier dispatches are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
• Picking, packing, and allocating parts warehouse stock.
• Identifying customer and workshop engineer parts requirements, including completion of associated administration.

The ideal Agricultural Parts Technician will have:

• Excellent people skills and enjoy working with the general public and business customers.
• Capable of working as part of a team and also working alone using own initiative.
• Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods.
• General computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and internet use as you will be required to use online parts systems.
• Good communication skills: face-to-face, email and on the phone.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, handling of payments.

Hours:

• 8.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday
• 8.00 – 12.00. Saturdays as required
