The Grimme Varitron 220 Platinum uses a two-row harvesting system with interchangeable separation units, allowing the machine to be configured for different soil and crop conditions. The 40, 45 and 40 mm webs provide staged separation through the harvesting system, while the Double Multisep assists with removing soil and unwanted material.
The machine is fitted with 8 and 10 mm Double Multisep segments and reverse webs to support the separation process. Its automatic lubrication system reduces the need for routine manual lubrication, helping maintain the machine during extended harvesting operations.
This 2020 Varitron 220 Platinum has recorded 2,940 hours and 2,587 acres. The machine is advertised as being serviced ready for the 2025 season, with a yield monitor available by separate negotiation and a front topper also available separately. Finance can also be arranged.
