The 2022 HE-VA 3m Combi-Disc combines subsoiling and disc cultivation in one machine. It handles deeper soil loosening, surface cultivation and consolidation. Farmers can use it to prepare ground for drilling, incorporate crop residues and work within reduced-tillage systems.
The Combi-Disc provides low disturbance cultivation when required. Its soil-loosening legs work alongside the disc section to prepare the soil. Farmers can also take the discs out of work and use the machine as a subsoiler when deeper soil loosening takes priority.
The hydraulic auto-reset system lets the legs trip when they hit an obstruction. The legs then return to their working position once they clear the obstruction. Farmers can adjust the system to suit the working depth and soil conditions, helping reduce downtime from shear-bolt breakages.
